Muckmount was founded by Marine Corps veteran Joshua C. Rogers — but most people just call him Josh.
The idea for Muckmount started after years of jiu-jitsu training: after trying brands that felt fake and disconnected from real hardworking people, Josh decided to build something authentic — a brand that genuinely represents the people who sweat for a living.

In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the "mount" is one of the most dominant positions. Together, MuckMount symbolizes overcoming the muck—defeating the dirt, sweat, and grime that come with hard work. When the day is over, the muck gets mounted.
